The PVP Difference

Prairie View Pilates in Oswego, Illinois

We’re proud to offer pure, no-frills Classical Pilates as Joseph Pilates intended. Classical Pilates is defined by a fluid, unscripted sequence of movements with a focus on breath, control, and strength. We take great care to respect the system of Pilates exercises and the equipment we use with them. Each class is different, with our expert teachers taking care to adapt the flow and movements to the level and limitations of individual practitioners.

Classical Pilates Taught by Highly Qualified Teachers

Becoming a Classical Pilates teacher requires undergoing rigorous, months-long training and a minimum of 600 hours of apprenticing. Much of contemporary Pilates offerings are infused with other disciplines, straying from the original methods and principles that we are careful to maintain.
